Had a fruitful trip to Massachusetts in May of 2008!
Many corrections to genealogies have been made and will continue to be made. So far the: Dexter, Gardner and Gaylord genealogies have been updated. Also, have made additions to the Gravestones and Family File Statistics pages. The Dexter Family Bible page now has photos of the Bible I took when I visited Peggy French.

After a recent trip to New York and Massachusetts,
many facts and pieces of information have been corrected and updated on all the Family Genealogies. Some are not as critical as others, but the
corrections have been made on the website, nonetheless.
Some of the MORE interesting or critical tidbits are as follows:
Dad's Side
Found Chauncey Depew Phillips' Birth Record giving the name of his
parents, where they were born and whom born to
John and Elvira Lodi's Marriage Record giving the date of their marriage
and John's parent's names, something that wasn't complete before
Mom's Side
Fannie Drum's twin Frankie was a female, not male, as I had believed
Found Grandma and Papa's Marriage Record indicating
Grandma's middle name was Elvina, not Elmira or Alvina
Also, as a side point, "Perry and Rosalia" were a couple that Mom knew as Grandma's friends; it turns out this is Rosalia Wiers, Grandma's aunt
on her father's side.

Hot on the Trail!
![]()
I've recently discovered that the two towns in Italy where Nonna (Elvira) and Giovanni Cortelli are from, Crevalcore and Cento respectively, both have websites. I have attempted to make contact with the equivalent of the Town Clerk in both towns, asking for information regarding Nonna and Giovanni's families.
I'm waiting to hear back....
